Ingredients

  • 4 pieces cubed steak (beef round sirloin)
  • 1 1/4 teaspoons salt
  • 1 cup seasoned breadcrumbs*
  • olive oil spray
  • white rice and lime wedges
  • 3 large eggs

Equipment Needed

  • Air Fryer

Instructions

  1. 1

Sprinkle salt generously on both surfaces of the beef.

  2. 2

In a shallow dish, whisk the eggs together with a splash of water until well combined.

  3. 3

Coat the beef in the egg mixture, then roll it in the breadcrumbs, using the back of a fork to press the crumbs onto the meat for better adherence.

  4. 4

Place the coated beef pieces in the air fryer basket, working in batches if necessary.

  5. 5

Lightly mist the top of the beef with cooking oil, then air fry at 400°F for 5 minutes on each side, applying oil to the other side after flipping. Serve alongside rice and lime wedges, if you like.
