Ingredients

  • 1 pound green beans
  • 2 ½ tablespoons grated pecorino romano or parmesan cheese
  • 1 ½ tablespoon seasoned breadcrumbs
  • ½ teaspoon sweet paprika
  • ½ teaspoon dried parsley
  • teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • ¼ teaspoon plus 1/8 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 2 small garlic cloves

    In a spacious mixing bowl, blend the green beans with 2 teaspoons of olive oil and ¼ teaspoon of kosher salt. Ensure all the beans are well-coated by tossing them thoroughly.

    Place the seasoned green beans into the basket of the air fryer. Set the temperature to 375°F and air fry for 6 to 7 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through to promote even cooking, until the beans are crisp-tender.

    In the meantime, take a small bowl and mix together the parmesan cheese, breadcrumbs, minced garlic, ⅛ teaspoon of salt, paprika, chopped parsley, black pepper, and the remaining 1 teaspoon of oil until well combined. Once the air fryer timer goes off, open the basket and sprinkle this mixture evenly over the green beans. Lightly mist with olive oil spray, then return to the air fryer and cook at 375°F for an additional 2 minutes, or until the topping is golden.

Notes & Tips
