  • 2 medium extra ripe plantains

    Lightly coat the air fryer basket with olive oil using a cooking spray.

    Trim the ends of the plantain, and with a sharp paring knife, make a lengthwise incision to help with peeling.

    Gently peel away the skin and place the plantain in the air fryer basket.

    Apply a bit more oil on top and set the air fryer to 370°F, cooking for approximately 8 minutes on each side, or until they become tender.
