Pour the marinade over the chicken pieces, ensuring each piece is thoroughly coated. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 3 hours, though allowing it to marinate overnight is recommended for enhanced flavor.
Prepare your grill or grill pan by preheating it to a medium-low temperature. Lightly grease the grates with oil to prevent sticking.
Place the chicken on the grill with the top side facing down first. Cook until it develops a nice char and is browned, approximately 2 to 3 minutes. Flip the chicken and grill the other side for an additional 2 to 3 minutes, taking care to avoid burning.
