Avocado fries are created by slicing fresh avocados, then enrobing them in crunchy panko breadcrumbs before air frying them to perfection, resulting in a delightful golden crispness. They're incredibly simple to prepare, and if you lack an air fryer, you can easily pop them in the oven instead!

Begin by setting your air fryer to a temperature of 390°F (199°C) to preheat.
In a shallow dish, crack and beat an egg. On a separate plate, mix together panko breadcrumbs and 1 teaspoon of Tajin seasoning.
Sprinkle 1/4 teaspoon of Tajin over the avocado wedges to enhance their flavor. Coat each wedge first in the beaten egg, followed by the panko mixture, ensuring they are well covered.
Lightly mist both sides of the coated avocado pieces with cooking oil, then place them in the air fryer basket. Cook for 7 to 8 minutes, flipping them halfway through for even crispness. Serve immediately with your desired dipping sauce.
If you prefer baking, preheat your oven to 425°F (218°C), then follow the previous steps for coating the avocado. Arrange them on a baking sheet and bake until they turn golden and crispy, which should take about 10 to 15 minutes.
