Ingredients

  • 1 medium ripe banana
  • 1/2 teaspoon pure maple syrup
  • 5 grams chopped walnuts
  • 3 tablespoons egg whites
  • 1/3 cup quick oats
  • 2/3 cup liquid Orgain's vanilla protein shake

Instructions

  1. 1

Cut one half of the banana into slices and set them aside for later use.

  2. 2

Using a fork, mash the other half of the banana and transfer it to a small saucepan. Add in the oats, protein shake, and egg whites, then combine all the ingredients thoroughly.

  3. 3

Place the saucepan over medium-low heat and stir the mixture until it reaches a boiling point. Once it starts to boil, continue to cook while stirring until the mixture thickens, which should take approximately 2 to 3 minutes.

  4. 4

Spoon the cooked oats into a bowl and garnish with the sliced banana, chopped walnuts, and a drizzle of maple syrup.
