Mix the shrimp with minced garlic and season generously with salt and pepper. Allow this to marinate for 15 minutes, or if time permits, let it sit overnight for enhanced flavor.
Preheat a well-oiled grill to a medium temperature. Once the grill reaches the desired heat, place the shrimp on it, taking care not to scorch the skewers.
Cook the shrimp for approximately 6 to 8 minutes total, turning them occasionally, until they are opaque and fully cooked.
