Place a skillet on medium heat and introduce the bacon. Sauté until it becomes crispy and the fat has rendered out.
Using a slotted spoon, transfer the bacon onto a paper towel to absorb excess grease.
Keep 1 teaspoon of the rendered bacon fat in the skillet and discard the remainder.
Incorporate the shrimp and minced garlic into the skillet, cooking for 3 minutes until the shrimp turns opaque. Remove from heat and chop into small pieces.
