Ingredients

  • 1 sweet apple
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons raw sugar
  • 2 cups 0% fat Stonyfield plain yogurt
  • 4 tablespoons chopped walnuts or pecans
  • 1 tablespoon golden raisins
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • pinch of nutmeg

Instructions

    In a small saucepan, combine the chopped apple, sugar, and raisins. Pour in 1/4 cup of water, then dust the mixture with cinnamon and a dash of nutmeg. Cover the pot and simmer on low heat for about 16 to 18 minutes, or until the apples become tender.
