Ingredients

  • 12 oz fresh or frozen cranberries
  • 1/2 cup honey or agave
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 ripe pears

Instructions

    In a medium saucepan, combine all the ingredients and heat on high until the mixture reaches a rolling boil.

    Once boiling, lower the heat to a simmer and cook for approximately 15 minutes, or until the cranberries have popped open and the sauce has thickened. Take off the heat and allow it to cool before placing it in the refrigerator. This sauce can be enjoyed chilled or at room temperature. Yields 3 1/4 cups.
