They serve as a perfect substitute for croutons in Caesar salad, complement soups wonderfully, and make an excellent addition to any charcuterie platter for an appetizer. Begin by setting your oven temperature to 400°F.
On a baking sheet lined with silicone (which is highly advisable), place 2 tablespoons of grated cheese and gently flatten it with your fingers to create a circle approximately 4 inches in diameter.
Continue this process with the remaining cheese, making three additional circles and ensuring there’s a 1/2-inch gap between each one.
Place the baking sheet in the oven and bake for 3 minutes, or until the cheese is nearly melted.
In a small bowl, mix together the sesame seeds, onion, garlic, and poppy seeds.
Sprinkle 3/4 teaspoon of this mixture on top of each cheese circle.
Return to the oven and bake for another 5 minutes, or until they turn a beautiful golden brown and become crispy. Allow to cool before enjoying.
