Ingredients

  • 2 1/2 pounds country style pork ribs
  • 1 lemon
  • 1/3 cup brown sugar
  • 6 cloves garlic
  • 1 tsp black pepper
  • crushed red pepper flakes
  • 1/2 cup white vinegar
  • 6 oz-can 7-up
  • 1/2 cup soy sauce

Instructions

    In a spacious non-reactive bowl, combine all the ingredients thoroughly and allow the pork to marinate for a minimum of 6 hours or preferably overnight.

    If you are using wooden skewers, make sure to soak them in water for at least one hour to prevent them from burning while grilling.

    After marinating, discard any leftover marinade and carefully slide the pork onto 8 skewers.

    Heat up the grill and lightly coat the grates with oil. Once it's preheated, grill the skewers for approximately 5 to 6 minutes on each side, until the pork is fully cooked.
