Once the bananas are frozen solid, take a coffee mug and fill it with chocolate. Heat the chocolate in the microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring after each session until it becomes smooth and fully melted.
Individually dip each banana piece into the melted chocolate, ensuring to remove any excess by scraping the back against the rim of the mug. Place the coated bananas onto a cookie sheet that has been lined with wax paper.
Before the chocolate sets, swiftly add chocolate chips to serve as eyes on the bananas (be prompt during this step).
