Ingredients

  • 1 medium banana
  • 1 cup good quality white chocolate*
  • 8 mini chocolate chips for eyes
  • 4 popsicle sticks

Instructions

  1. 1

Slice the banana in half lengthwise, then cut each half again to create four equal pieces. Insert popsicle sticks into each banana quarter and arrange them on a cookie sheet lined with wax paper before placing them in the freezer.

  2. 2

Once the bananas are frozen solid, take a coffee mug and fill it with chocolate. Heat the chocolate in the microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring after each session until it becomes smooth and fully melted.

  3. 3

Individually dip each banana piece into the melted chocolate, ensuring to remove any excess by scraping the back against the rim of the mug. Place the coated bananas onto a cookie sheet that has been lined with wax paper.

  4. 4

Before the chocolate sets, swiftly add chocolate chips to serve as eyes on the bananas (be prompt during this step).

  5. 5

Return the banana pops to the freezer until they are completely frozen and ready to enjoy. Serve them while frozen.
