These Turkey Burgers with a Greek twist are infused with Kalamata olives, feta cheese, and fresh spinach, bringing together a delightful medley of flavors that celebrate my love for Greek cuisine. Enjoy them with a bun or savor them on their own for a lighter option.

Begin by preheating your oven to 420°F (215°C).
In a spacious mixing bowl, combine all the ingredients and blend them well until fully incorporated.
Take a generous handful of the mixture, shape it into a ball, and then flatten it to create a patty approximately 1 ½ inches thick. Repeat this process with the rest of the mixture to yield 5 evenly sized patties.
After shaping the patties, gently press your thumb into the center of each one to create a slight indentation. This will help prevent them from puffing up during cooking.
Heat a large oven-safe nonstick skillet over medium-high heat and give it a light misting of olive oil. Once the skillet reaches a suitable temperature, add the patties.
Sear the patties on one side for 3 to 4 minutes until the edges turn golden brown, then carefully flip them over.
Allow them to cook for an additional minute, then transfer the entire skillet into the oven. Cook until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C), which should take about 9 to 11 minutes.
Alternatively, you can bake the patties on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or aluminum foil for 8 to 10 minutes.
Serve these delicious patties as a burger on a toasted whole wheat bun, topped with butter lettuce, cucumber slices, thinly sliced red onion (if desired), fresh tomato, and a dollop of Greek yogurt in place of mayonnaise. You can also enjoy a patty alongside a salad, rice, quinoa, or roasted vegetables!
