In a large skillet, heat oil over high heat and add the ground turkey. Season it with 1 teaspoon of salt and 1 teaspoon of cumin.
Cook the turkey, breaking it apart as it cooks, for approximately 5 minutes or until it is fully cooked.
Shift the meat to one side of the skillet, spray the empty side with oil, then add the onion and tomato paste. Sauté for 1 minute.
Incorporate the sweet potato, black beans, corn, diced tomato, jalapeño, garlic, and cilantro, stirring in the chicken broth.
Sprinkle in 1/4 teaspoon of salt, adjusting to your preference, along with the cumin.
Combine the mixture and cover the skillet. Reduce the heat and simmer for 12 to 14 minutes, or until the sweet potato is soft.
Serve the dish garnished with avocado, lime wedges, and additional cilantro.
