Ingredients

  • 15.5 ounce can chickpeas beans
  • juice of 1 lemon
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 3/4 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil
  • Sweet paprika
  • Everything bagel seasoning
  • 3 tablespoons tablespoon tahini
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1/2 cup crushed ice water

Instructions

    In the blender, combine the chickpeas, chilled water, tahini, cumin, lemon juice, garlic, and salt. Blend at high speed until the mixture reaches a silky and creamy consistency. If necessary, incorporate an additional tablespoon of water to achieve the desired texture.

    With the aid of a rubber spatula, transfer the hummus onto a serving platter and use the back of a spoon to create a smooth surface. Drizzle olive oil generously on top, then sprinkle with paprika and, if you like, a dash of everything bagel seasoning for extra flavor.

    Pair with fresh carrot sticks, cucumber slices, pita triangles, or your choice of dippers.
