Wash the quinoa thoroughly under cold running water to eliminate its natural coating known as saponin, which can impart a bitter or soapy flavor. Even if the quinoa you've purchased is pre-rinsed, it's beneficial to give it another rinse.
Place the rinsed quinoa along with the appropriate liquid into the Instant Pot. Ensure the valve is set to the sealing position.
Secure the lid and cook on high pressure for 2 minutes, then allow the pressure to release naturally for approximately 10 minutes.
Use a fork to fluff the quinoa, then set it aside to cool.
