Ingredients

  • 4 oz baked tortilla chips
  • 8 oz 99% lean ground turkey breast
  • 1 cup fat-free spicy black bean dip
  • 1 1/3 cup reduced fat Mexican cheese blend
  • 2 cups pico de gallo
  • 1/2 cup light sour cream
  • 1/2 cup chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1 jalapeño
  • 1 tsp cumin
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • kosher salt and black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. 1

Begin by preheating your oven to 425°F.

  2. 2

Arrange 1 ounce (approximately 14 chips, depending on the brand) in each of four oven-safe dishes, or alternatively, spread all 4 ounces on a single large baking tray.

  3. 3

Heat a spacious nonstick skillet over high heat.

  4. 4

Incorporate the ground turkey into the pan, seasoning it with cumin, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Sauté the mixture until the turkey is fully cooked, breaking it into smaller chunks using a wooden spoon, which should take around 5 minutes.

  5. 5

Once the turkey is done, stir in the bean dip until thoroughly combined.

  6. 6

Distribute the turkey-bean mixture evenly over the chips and generously sprinkle cheese on top.

  7. 7

Bake in the oven until the cheese is melted and bubbly, approximately 6 minutes.

  8. 8

Take the nachos out of the oven and garnish with pico de gallo, sour cream, cilantro, and jalapeños.

  9. 9

Enjoy your nachos right away while they’re hot!
