  • 1 pound boneless
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • ¾ cup low-sodium chicken broth
  • ½ cup crisp white wine
  • 1 teaspoon chopped fresh thyme
  • 8 ounces French green beans

  • 2 tablespoons minced shallot

Using a slotted spoon, remove the bacon and place it on a plate lined with paper towels to absorb excess grease. Discard most of the bacon fat, leaving just a thin layer in the skillet.

    Season the chicken pieces generously on both sides with 1/4 teaspoon of salt and black pepper, then place them in the skillet. Allow them to cook for 4 minutes on each side, or until they are fully cooked through. Once done, transfer the chicken to a plate and cover it loosely with foil to keep warm.
