During one of the episodes of MasterChef Junior, I came across the saying, "what grows together, goes together," and it truly resonates. Zucchini, tomatoes, and basil complement each other perfectly. You can enjoy this delightful combination as a side dish, as recommended, or elevate it to a main course by adding some grilled shrimp or chicken on top.

In a spacious non-stick skillet heated on high, pour in the oil.
Toss in the garlic and sauté until it turns golden, about 30 seconds.
Introduce the tomatoes along with the crushed red pepper flakes, then season with salt and pepper. Lower the heat to a gentle simmer.
Cover the pan and let it cook until the tomatoes become tender, approximately 15 minutes.
Raise the heat to medium-high, mix in the zucchini and basil, add a pinch of salt, and cook for an additional 2 minutes. Serve immediately.
