In a large skillet, heat over high heat and cook the turkey, breaking it apart into smaller bits as it browns, which should take around 5 minutes.
Once the turkey is no longer pink, stir in 1 teaspoon of salt along with the dry spices, ensuring everything is well combined.
Incorporate the onion, bell pepper, water, and tomato sauce into the skillet, then cover it.
Allow the mixture to simmer on low heat for approximately 15 minutes.
