Ingredients

  • 9 ounces sugar free chocolate chips
  • pretzel sticks cut into 1/2 inch pieces
  • Edible ink markers
  • 1 teaspoon White Nonpareils Sprinkles
  • 27 mini marshmallows

Instructions

  1. 1

Prepare a small 9 x 13-inch baking sheet by lining it with parchment paper, then set it aside for later use.

  2. 2

With the edible markers, draw snowman faces on 9 miniature marshmallows. Consider the arrangement of the snowmen to ensure they can be evenly cut later.

  3. 3

Have your pretzels prepped and ready at this stage, as they won’t adhere once the chocolate sets.

  4. 4

Place the chocolate in a medium bowl that is safe for microwave use. Heat the chocolate in the microwave, stirring every 30 seconds to prevent it from seizing up.

  5. 5

When the chocolate is fully melted and has a smooth consistency, remove it from the microwave and set it aside. This process typically takes around 1 1/2 to 2 minutes, but keep in mind that microwaves can vary. Once ready, pour the melted chocolate onto the lined baking sheet, using a rubber spatula to spread it evenly to the edges.

  6. 6

Quickly arrange the marshmallows on top to form your snowmen, then add the pretzel arms, followed by a sprinkle of edible decorations to represent snow.

  7. 7

Let the chocolate bark cool and firm up in the refrigerator for about 30 minutes. Once it has hardened, break it into 9 pieces, each weighing approximately 1 ounce.
