Ingredients

  • 2 cups shredded green cabbage
  • 2 cups shredded red cabbage
  • 1 tsp poppy seeds
  • 1 tsp honey
  • 1/4 tsp Kosher salt
  • freshly ground black pepper
  • 1 granny smith apples
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp golden balsamic vinegar

Instructions

  1. 1

To prepare the dressing, combine the olive oil, vinegar, poppy seeds, honey, salt, and pepper in a medium-sized bowl and whisk until well blended.

  2. 2

Use the larger noodle blade on your spiralizer to create spirals from the apple. If the spiralizer becomes difficult to turn, ensure that no seeds are obstructing the blade.

  3. 3

With a pair of scissors, trim the apple spirals into shorter segments, aiming for pieces that are approximately 6 to 8 inches in length.

  4. 4

Add the apple pieces to a spacious bowl along with the shredded cabbage.

  5. 5

Drizzle the dressing over the slaw mixture and toss thoroughly to ensure everything is evenly coated.

  6. 6

Enjoy immediately, or if you prefer, cover the bowl and refrigerate for later consumption.
