Arrange the strawberries on a baking sheet and place them in the oven to roast for 25 minutes. Once done, take them out and let them cool off to the side.
In a medium-sized mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt until evenly mixed. Set this mixture aside for later use.
In a larger bowl, use an electric mixer to cream together the butter and sugar until the mixture is light and fluffy.
