"My family can't get enough of these Swedish meatballs! They're incredibly tender and bursting with flavor, yet they're a lighter alternative compared to many classic recipes. And we can’t overlook the sauce—its creamy texture truly elevates the entire meal!"

In a spacious nonstick frying pan, warm olive oil over medium heat. Incorporate the chopped onions and minced garlic. Sauté these ingredients until the onions become translucent, which should take approximately 4-5 minutes. Then, add in the diced celery and parsley, cooking until they soften, around 3-4 additional minutes. Remove from heat and let cool.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, ground turkey, egg, the cooled onion mixture, breadcrumbs, ¼ teaspoon of salt, pepper, and allspice. Thoroughly mix the ingredients together and shape the mixture into 16 meatballs.
Pour the beef broth into the skillet and bring it to a boil. Once boiling, lower the heat to medium-low and gently place the meatballs into the broth. Cover the skillet and allow them to cook for about 20 minutes, or until they are fully cooked.
Using a slotted spoon, carefully take out the meatballs and place them in a serving dish. Strain the broth and transfer it to a blender along with the cream cheese. Blend the mixture until it is smooth. Pour the blended sauce back into the skillet with the meatballs and let it simmer.
