Ingredients

  • 1 medium baked sweet potato
  • 1 large egg
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 6 tablespoons ketchup
  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 2 tablespoons dried onion flakes
  • 1 teaspoon marjoram
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce

Instructions

    Begin by setting your oven temperature to 350°F.

    Carefully scoop out the insides of the sweet potato, discarding the skin, and then mash the flesh in a spacious mixing bowl.

    Incorporate the ground turkey, egg, dried onion, 1/4 cup of ketchup, marjoram, and 1 teaspoon of kosher salt into the bowl, and blend everything together using a fork until thoroughly combined.

    In a separate small bowl, mix together 2 tablespoons of ketchup with Worcestershire sauce until well blended.

    Form the mixture into a loaf shape and transfer it onto a baking sheet. Drizzle the sauce mixture over the top.

    Bake the meatloaf uncovered for 55 minutes, then take it out of the oven and allow it to rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
